Aww Harry Potter new movie...

  • Mood: Enjoying The Show

I usually don't do this, but I just saw the new movie few hours ago and loved! The first session was full and I personally don't like it, but my friend and I were so excited that it was a minor fact.
I've followed all movies for years and it's actually bit sad that is coming to an end, however this one is a great teaser to the next two films. Very different from the three previous ones and more mature than the two other sequels, but without losing the tenderness. It's funny and amusing but also grave and sad at the same time. It makes a bit of contrast between the dark atmosphere all over the scenes and the humor that comes from nice little jokes. It brought some reality to the turmoil inside of some characters in a way. The visual effects are probably one of the best that I've ever seen! The cinematography is so beautiful that it looks like moving paintings. Sorry for the spoiler, but the whole scene of Hermione crying on Harry's shoulder was particularly the best! I could even draw that! The soundtrack is another good surprise, actually.
But... I missed some things, even not being a reader of the books. The fact about the Half-Blood Prince is slightly mentioned very few times, and of course it's better comprehended in the end, but I still think it could have been more explored. Instead there are many scenes about Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione romances only. I believe it has its reason, but it was just too much focused in my opinion. The greatest moment in the end deserved more attention as well. It seems that the loss is smaller than it really is to the story.
On the other hand, I do understand these versions of books sometimes run away from the original indeed (being a LotR fan may help me in this case). I am not a freak fan after all. I like the movies a lot, but nothing compared to the other ones, so I can take it easy. Due to this matter, I enjoyed it more than just trying to find where they've changed... I've seen people moaning too much about the director, but always remember this: it could be worse. ;) =P
Anyway, go see Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince and have fun!

By the way... the next drawing is almost done... ;)

Aww I'm even more eager to see the movie now xD
I'm going to the cinema tomorrow *-* and yeah I've heard a lot of thinga about the director, and it's the order of the phoenix was definitely not the best, but as you said.. it could have been worse... and it's a fact that the cinematography versions of books are always... different.
Books FTW! =P But that's a personal matter.

waiting for the Tuoppis 3rd drawing :aww:
Good night!

Yeah, I know.
I said "three previous ones and more mature than the two other sequels", it means: five films. :)

In my humble opinion, The Order of the Phoenix is totally forgettable. I don't think it's a bad movie, not at all, but I really forgot the whole story after some time. I had to watch it last week again because I could not remember a thing when I went to the cinema. Unfortunately, I do remember the circumstances, which is exactly what I should have forgotten. =P anyway... the new one will divide opinions, of course, but the whole concept is good. And it's the vision of the director, not necessary an ultimate version of the thing.
When I read LotR I was kinda disappointed, specially The Two Towers which is VERY different, but still love the movie because it worked on the big screen. That's the point after all.

70% of the drawing is done actually! YAY!
Good night dear, and have fun tomorrow!

I've always wanted to read LotR before seeing the movies.. and as I haven't read them yet I haven't seen the movies... :blushes: The plan was to buy the books as a birthday gift, but my mom yesterday bought me the last Stephen King book "Duma Key" ¬¬ so she ruined my plan :XD: on the top of that she gave me the gift 5 days before my bd.. which is on Sunday.

regarding HP.. I'm quite disspointend now, 'cause I've just checked the cinema schedule and HP6 among other movies has been delayed because of the f*cking flu :angered:
So... I'll have to wait until 23rd of July... guess I'm going to see End of an Era or something like that at home meanwhile xD

70 % :boogie: :boogie:
hugs ^^

Shit shit shit another 8 days to the premiere in Poland >.> and then searching for a session without dubbing... :XD:

So you say the Half-Blood Prince isn't much talked about, eh? That's too sad. You'd think that with such a movie title (we should write "SNAPE" after it in red colour and underline it a few times) there would be more hints, a bigger mystery, and more of Alan Rickman, the genius...

I personally don't know why people get so excited about a movie...O_o
It is what it is, just a movie, i watch movies when I'm bored or don't have anything to do... They're all the same to me, some good some bad...
I respect people's enthusiasm about such things but don't see the point, anyway I saw a couple of Harry Potter movies and thought they were not that good, just mediocre fun... I actually came across the book of the last harry potter and i think reading a book is far more powerful and amusing than watching a movie... But as you said-go see it ;)

I don't know what I should suggest for you because I ended up reading the book after watching the movies, and of course, due to some differences, I got disappointed in a way. But I think if I had read the story before, the disappointment would be bigger because I'd have expected more about it. And the movie story is more compacted, too. The book has many many details and names...

What a pity, but it's understandable. :( A friend of mine would have traveled to Buenos Aires but had to cancel the trip due to the flu as well.
Wow, EoaE! I haven't watched it for ages! haha I think I just did it twice when I brought the DVD three years ago. =P

Feliz Cumpleaños, btw! =)
